HOW DID THE CRISIS AFFECT CULTURE?

– Some initiatives came up for supporting cultural activities online for free (e.g. free courses, workshops,
concerts, ballet, theater online, etc.)

– There were free virtual guided tours offered in world-class museums and art galleries

– Many people joined virtual events on social media, watched life-streamed concerts, shows, etc., they watched movies together with friends, etc.

– Some cultural elements were removed from the behavior of the people – shaking hands, kissing on the cheek for greeting, etc.

– There were new forms of cultural exchanges and communication – digital exchange programs, using Zoom and other channels
