The Film Archive of Greece

The Film Archive of Greece Foundation is a non-profit cultural institution that aims to research, collect, preserve and promote the Greek and world film heritage. The Film Archive of Greece, the official national audiovisual archive of the country, welcomes schools and cultural institutions that organize their educational events in its premises, but it also plays another important role: it preserves and restores historical Greek films from the beginnings of Greek cinema, which are evidence of a Greece that no longer exists.
