Urban Events Festival

When: First Saturday of June

An all-day event with young DJs takes place in Novo mesto’s Main Square (Glavni trg). The upper part of the square hosts competitions in hip hop and break dancing, and creative workshops for young artists and graffiti artists to the rhythms of electronic music by young DJs. The lower part of the market is where young chefs present local specialties and there are providers of spirits, wine, craft beer and juices. In the evening, the largest disco ball in Slovenia lights up in the Main Square and one of the most beautiful Slovenian squares comes to life as a large open-air disco.
