“YOUreSTART!” is committed to ensure that the privacy of users is protected. For the main part, the YOUreSTART! platfom doesn’t require any registration for the use of its content, and neither does the project’s Discord Server which allows the interaction and communication of users with the partners and other users. The only information you might be requested to submit are the following, divided per type of interaction:
Using the chatbot: Using the chatbot doesn’t require any information, except for a nickname at the beginning and if you choose so, you can submit a question or a video by entering your email.
Email contact / Comments on the platform: When addressing us through email or a comment in the platform, you need to provide a valid email account so that we can reply to your message OR for your comment to be posted.
Participating in the discord server: For the implementation of the YOUreSTART! Voice we created a discord server where you can participate freely without registration. The limitation in this case is that if you change the device or the browser you first used to enter the server, you will lose access to your temporary profile. To avoid this, discord prompts you to create an account and it will ask you some personal details to which we have no access.
Joining our facebook group: To join our facebook group you need to have an active facebook account. In this case the partners will have access to the information you have chosen to be public in your facebook profile, but they will only be used to inform you of any project related updates.
Participating in our surveys and events: In this case, we might ask you to submit some more information, such as First and Last Name, organisations you work for OR are affiliated with, contact information such as email or telephone number and some demographic data to better help us make some conclusions on our results.
What we do with the information we gather? We require this information for:
- Meeting all users who want to register in the Platform
- Internal record keeping
- We may use this information to improve our services
- We may use the information to customize the website according to your interest.
